Es una zona Residencial de clase media: está bien, tienen que mantener y cuidar porque son joyas de la Arquitectura que hoy día no se hacen y son construcciones bien pensadas y hechas por maestros de la construcción y dar las Gracias a los que hoy día se dan a la tarea de la recuperación de estas Casas oh casonas como se le conoce en México 🇲🇽 no sólo en esté País si no en otros tambien cuidar es querer.

Bellas casas y de verdad que buen trabajo de rescate de estás joyas arquitectónicas de nuestra ciudad, lo lamentable es que los yucatecos con posibilidades de realizar esta labor para conservar este patrimonio se lo están dejando a extranjeros ¿Será que ellos si tienen el buen gusto por estás casas antiguas además del recurso financiero? en fin que bueno que alguien está interesado en rescatarlas y así devolverle algo bello a nuestra hermosa y querida ciudad de Mérida. Esta casa fue construida por el Lic. Jaime Oroza Díaz, ahí vivió muchos años con su esposa Doña Elsa Piña y su hija Elsa Oroza Piña. A su muerte, fue vendida a un cubano-canadiense quien la arregló bastante. Muy bien decorada. Lo mejor es el comedor Chipendale y la lámpara de Bacará del mismo comedor.
Preciosa la casa, no así la decoración. Podría ser muy bella con decoración de buen gusto.
